East LA Parade Route Guide
-Parade Check-in: If you are participating in the parade, you must enter through 1st and Vancouver, drive to the check-in at Cesar Chavez and Vancouver.
-Parade Route:
Kicks off at Cesar Chavez Ave. & Mednik Ave., traveling 1.5 miles through the heart of East Los Angeles, ending on Gage Ave.
🕙 Parade Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Enjoy a vibrant display of floral floats, folklórico dancers, equestrian teams, and high-energy marching bands — a truly unforgettable experience for the whole family.
-Street Closures & Traffic Info:
To keep everyone safe, the East LA Sheriff's Department and East LAPD — in collaboration with Comite Mexicano Civico Patriotico and local officials — will close the street:

Mednik Ave. between 1st St. and Cesar Chavez (Saturday, Sep. 12th at 5 pm- Sunday Sep. 13th at 9 pm )

Cesar Chavez Ave. from Vancouver to Gage Ave. (Sunday, Sep. 13th, at 6 am- 3 pm)
-Plan Ahead: Hosting a viewing party or expecting deliveries? Please notify your guests or vendors early. We recommend they arrive before 6:00 AM or the evening prior. Limited free parking is available at the East LA Civic Center and surrounding streets.
